Painting like wandering in the labyrinth of my memories of Venice. The paintings were created after several stays in Venice between 2010 and 2013, during many walks, at different times of the four seasons of the year and in different weather conditions: rain, fog, sun.
The light, the sound of the water in the canals, the circular path of the narrow alleys and calli, with sudden openings onto squares determine the color, tone and fluctuation of the paintings.
The subject of these works is an internal image, a composition of sky-water-sound. Through the very fluid flow of color and in different layers, different images and situations developed over time.
