Horizontal and vertical lines, created by folds, structure fields of color and material.
Colors mixed with sand, glue etc. they are applied on several levels: often the lower layers emerge again. The relief surface, with paint residues and crumbled and corroded material, as if “grown” on canvas or cardboard, is a witness of composition and decomposition. Aging and transience are like a momentary state of an unlimited and eternal process.
Earth colors dominate, such as brown-ocher and yellow, but green and red are also present on a relatively homogeneous structure. The geometry of the fold lines offers support and orientation. The scattered colored pigments give a dotted depth of indefinite space, like stars in a night sky.
